Life on board

Helpful tips for gulet cruisers

Life onboard your gulet is informal, you won't need much daytime clothing, just your swim-wear, a pair of shorts and a top for when you have had too much sun. You may need a sweat-shirt or track-suit for late nights on deck (particularly at the beginning or end of season).

What to bring

Swim wear and casual wear are the order of the day and shoes are not worn on board. The chef serves a different mouth-watering delicacy each day of the seven day menu. Alcoholic and soft drinks are available from the bar - guests are kindly requested not to bring their own drinks on board, unless otherwise arranged. The prices of drinks are reasonable and there is a drinks package including local alcoholic drinks available and payable to the captain locally.

Things You'll need
A sweater for evenings.
Suntan lotion or cream (not suntan oil to avoid slipping on / or staining the deck).

Things You won't need
Deckshoes for the boat, as no footwear is worn onboard.
A lot of warm clothing.
Towels for the cabin, towels for the sunbathing and taking ashore as these are provided.

Important points to note

The speedboat can only be operated by a member of the crew. You may like to bring your favourite CDs and  iPod-s to enjoy during your cruise. Due to unforeseen circumstances, bad weather conditions or for your own safety, the planned itinerary may have to be changed at short notice. The Captain's decision is final in all matters.

Croatia Yacht Charter

Charter in Croatia is acclaimed to be one of the the best yacht charter holiday cruising grounds in the Mediterranean. The lovely warm days, clear blue skies and distinct vegetation, makes Croatia feel very much a part of Mediterranean. In general the locals are warm and courteous and make great hosts in their beautiful country.
Over a thousand islands make up the Dalmatian Islands. With such variety, calm winds and turquoise waters, the Croatian coastline makes an unforgettable yacht charter holiday. The sea here is remarkably clean and, unlike some parts of the Mediterranean, is still alive with sea life and full of fish. The cities and villages are ancient and intriguing. With so many stunning islands, bays and beaches, the Croatian Islands can virtually guarantee you, a little bit of privacy and some truly remarkable anchorages.
Sometimes the simplest moments on your yacht charter holiday can be those which are the most memorable. The lack of facilities on some islands, means there is only one restaurant to choose from - a family owned restaurant where water is drawn from a well and the generator provides unreliable, flickering light by which to dine. Most of our guests love to sample a taste of this authentic culture. As with most of the Mediterranean the charter season is quite long runs from about April through to about the end of October. The weather is predominantly warm and dry during these months.

Country's slogan says it all: "Croatia-Mediterranean as it once was..."
Croatia is an adventure that even Robinson Crusoe would have loved to enjoy, and it's just over 2 hours flight from London. This beautiful unspoilt Mediterranean destination offers an abundance of coastal and island towns with rich cultural heritage set in crystal clean waters of Adriatic.
With over 1700 kilometres of unspoilt coastline and 1185 island, only 66 inhabited, Croatia lands itself to a variety of holidays from enjoying beauty and tranquility of charming resorts like Dubrovnik, Makarska or Rovinj to taking to the water for sailing and numerous watersports.
The waters of Adriatic are clean, clear and inviting transculant blue- the sea was described by the late Jacques Cousteau as"one of the cleanest seas on earth" and it's beaches and marinas awarded a record number of eco Blue Flags.
